Biography

Shivika Choudhary is Assistant Professor at the Law Centre -I, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi since 2018. She served as a judge of sub-divisional court before taking up her passion for academics and teaches Constitutional Law, Principles of Contract, Public International Law and Information Technology Law. She has been recipient of the Governor’s Award in 2005 and R.P. Anand International Law Scholarship in 2014. She was awarded her LL.M. in Human Rights from National Law School of India University, Bangalore and B.A., LL.B. from Army Institute of Law, Mohali securing third highest marks. During her LL.M., she served as Research Fellow with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation. She is a doctoral scholar at the prestigious South Asian University, New Delhi established under the SAARC Mandate. Her Ph.D. thesis focuses on Attribution of Conduct in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations. She researches in international institutional law, international humanitarian law, constitutional law, environmental law and contemporary issues of human rights.
