Biography

Amit is Assistant Professor at Law Centre-1, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Prior to joining the University of Delhi, he was employed with the School of Law, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. His areas of interest include International Economic Law and International Arbitration. He has obtained LL.M in International Legal Studies from the Faculty of Legal Studies, South Asian University, New Delhi and BA LLB (Hons) from Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, India. He holds Junior Research Fellowship (JRF-NET) awarded by University Grant Commission, India. He has published articles in diverse areas of domestic and international importance in national and international journals. He received the Young Scholars Award from the Asian Society of International Law and Cambridge University Press in 2019 for his article "Non-Precluded Measure Provisions in Bilateral Investment Treaties of South Asian Countries" published in the Asian Journal of International Law (Cambridge University Press).
